Jamberry Nails

I'm still on the fence about these.  They are super cool and are fun.  I mean you can decorate your nails all kinds of ways for holidays, special occasions and just everyday stuff.  So $15 for a set of 18.  But each of those can be cut in half so technically about 36 nails can be covered, I think.  Well more or less depending on your nail size.  That is not bad for a mani that lasts two weeks-ish.

I received a free sample (enough to cover two nails).  I followed the directions.  I think it takes some practice because I could tell they weren't on smooth.  Like they had slight ripples. But everyone else thought they were adorable.  I put them on my ring fingers and painted the rest of my nails with regular polish.  They definitely out lasted my regular polish.

My only complaint is they kept catching.  I think it is because they were not on correctly because they were slightly pulled up at the edge.  When I washed or fixed my hair, it would catch and it hurt like a biotch.   But even with them pulled up slightly they looked great.  I think I am the only one who noticed.  Well my little sister in law noticed but she is 12 and was scrutinizing my nails.

So all in all I think I would purchase a full set.  I just have to perfect the application process.  It took me 20 min to do two and they weren't on correctly.  But I believe with a little practice I can make them work.  See below Day 1 vs Day 14.
